In 2016 Semat undertook the renovation of the civil infrastructure, overhaul of the hydraulic components, and replacement of the turbines of the Edison Campolessi hydroelectric power plant in Gemona, in the province of Udine. The contract included the installation of new turbines at the plant which is located along the Ledra - Tagliamento canal.
After demolishing the obsolete parts of the structure, starting from the roof, Semat carried out the entire civil component of the project, in collaboration with Hydro Energia, a company specializing in the small hydro sector acquired by the ATB Group in September 2016.
