The project for the implementation of the rainwater collection and treatment network system, carried out by Semat S.p.A. for Arcelor Mittal S.p.A., was completed in 2020 in Taranto. This intervention, an integral part of the industrial construction sector and the category of rolling mills, aimed primarily at the sustainable management of rainwater, contributing to reducing the environmental impact of the plant.

The work involved the design and installation of an efficient drainage network capable of collecting and channeling rainwater to a treatment system. This system was designed to ensure that the collected water is purified before being reintroduced into the environment, reducing the risk of pollution and improving the quality of surface waters.

The completion of this project represented a significant step towards environmental sustainability and social responsibility for Arcelor Mittal, demonstrating the company's commitment to promoting more eco-friendly industrial practices. Throughout all phases of implementation, particular attention was paid to worker safety and minimizing environmental impact, ensuring an integrated and sustainable approach.
