Construction of coke cooling showers No. 5-6

The project for the construction of coke cooling showers No. 5-6, commissioned by Thyssen Krupp Industrial Solutions AG, took place in 2019 in Taranto and was successfully completed. This work falls within the industrial construction sector and is categorized under rolling mills, contributing to improving the efficiency of the coke cooling process, a fundamental material in the steel industry.

 

The cooling showers were designed to ensure uniform and controlled cooling of the coke, thereby optimizing operational conditions and improving the quality of the final product. The intervention required the implementation of advanced technologies and high-quality materials, ensuring the durability and reliability of the structures.

 

The completion of this project represented a significant step for the Taranto plant, enhancing production capacities and ensuring high standards of safety and environmental sustainability. Throughout all phases of construction, particular attention was paid to worker safety and minimizing environmental impact, in line with Thyssen Krupp's corporate policies.
